Due to school being closed, picture day has been rescheduled for Friday, September 18. Thanks and have a great day!

This is a reminder that Carroll County Public Schools are closed Friday and Monday for the Labor Day holiday. Have a great weekend and we will see you next Tuesday.

Good afternoon Patriot Families. We are trying a new afternoon pickup procedure to reduce traffic waiting on route 221. Please do not arrive before 2:45. When you arrive, you may pull into the normal line or will be directed to the bus lanes in front of the building to wait. We begin releasing students by name at 3:00. At this time, cars will be directed to alternate one at a time from each waiting area to pick up your student. The line is beginning to clear by 3:15 when buses arrive. Once buses are in front of the building do not enter the bus lane area. We encourage families that are able to delay their arrival until 3:15 to 3:20 to decrease congestion on route 221.
For parents in grades 3-5, you can now use this QR code to pay for school dances.

Help our PTSO create more experiences for the students of HES. Flyers are coming home with students today. Thank you for your help.

Come join us next Tuesday and enjoy a hot dog, ride your bike, and play on the playground.

Picture day is coming September 9th!

Starting tomorrow, August nineteenth, no one will be allowed in the parking lot to line up for parent pick up until 2:45PM. There have been a few safety concerns with our gym classes and classes outside at recess. Anyone arriving before two forty five will be asked to leave and return at the correct time. Also, unless it is an emergency, please pick up students leaving early before 2:30PM. This will help with traffic flow and student safety as office staff is helping with parent pick up and mail pick up of students. Thank you for your help with these matters and working with us to improve our parent pick up and student safety.
Please remember that pre kindergarten and kindergarten students need to turn in a physical and updated immunization records to the school. If you have not done so, please get this taken care of as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please contact the school at 276-728-7312 and speak with our school nurse, Anne Miller.
Anyone interested in soccer, please see the attached flyer.
